this is how…
live life
jump out of moving vehicles
run into forests in the dark
scare the shit out of yourself
sit with just you and only you
love yourself and also hate yourself (a bit)
when you gain success, abandon it! take time out — longer than expected
wallow in the discomfort of growing
do not keep up appearances
instead force yourself into new spaces
you may be conditioned to seek security
but nothing about life is secure
be safe with your story
in order to ask other people questions you have to ask yourself questions
the really horrible ones
not – am I the best? but – could I be better?
the answer is always yes
the writer who throws themselves into the abyss is the one that will tell you something
