YOUR 80’S PRICING PERSONA IS…

Business Savant
You’re high-end and equally high-impact. When people work with you, they feel taken care of, luscious, and warm.
You know the feeling— when you’re getting the best and you know it. Your clients and customers aren’t second guessing your value. There’s no question about it, you don’t mess around and working or learning from you? Well, it’s a privilege.
You’re the queen bee (or the male equivalent, buzzz) and your pricing reflects that reality. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Hell to the yes.
Your pricing gives you time and space to offer a high-calibre experience with fringe benefits like thoughtful gifts and special discounts and bonuses that actually feel good.
How do you stand out and shine so bright? You understand that to get paid like a superstar, you need to show up like one too. There’s power in perception and you’ve consciously crafted a brand to match your superstar status à la David Bowie.

David Bowie and The Unstoppable Power of Positioning
David Bowie wasn’t always a rich and famous rockstar. He was a classic example of fake it till you make it in action.
Bowie got lucky, he had a manager who recognized the importance of playing the part. Even though David Bowie had no money his manager insisted he show up in the world like he did.
He dressed elaborately, went everywhere in a limo, and made himself known through the power of perception alone. Now you and I both know that David Bowie is and has always been insanely talented.
But talent alone didn’t make him into an international superstar, just like it didn’t turn you into a money making machine either.
You understand the importance of showing up like a pro, even if you don’t always feel like one. Can you take it even further? My guess is yes.

Go from B-Class Celeb to Untouchable Superstar
1. Lead with Generosity
Look at Marie Forleo. For more than 300 days out of the year she is all about giving value to her audience. Marie TV is this amazingly well-produced resource that thousands of entrepreneurs watch every week. Does she make money off it directly? Nope. Does it add to her credibility, grow her audience, and create loyal fans who’ll eventually turn into B-School buyers? You’d better believe it.
Marie doesn’t have to burn herself out creating a bright and shiny new offer every year. Instead, she can focus on showing up as a generous and knowledgeable leader whose business is built on grace, not hustle.
2. Become a Boundary Lovin’ Badass
The more successful you get, the more untouchable you have to become. That might sound kinda mean but hear me out— as you rise to fame, people will want to pick your brain (worst expression ever, I know).
You’ll get more invitations and requests than you know what to do with.
There’ll be a line up of far from ideal clients that want to work with you.
You’ll be in demand which by its very definition means that there won’t be enough of you to go around.
It’s easy to let overwhelm run the show at this point. You have to force yourself to get clear on what YOU want and prioritize where you put your energy. That means having boundaries and sticking to them. Side note: having kickass support like my wing woman Sandra helps a ton!
3. Play the Part, But Stay True to You
Even celebrities have their shortcomings. You might not always feel like the baller that you are. Just because you’re well-known and people are lining up to pick up what you’re putting down doesn’t mean you won’t have problems.
Stay connected to what you want. You can have peace and profit at the same time. You can be both humble and abundant. You can have it all, just maybe not all at once.
Play the part of the Bowie-esque superstar but in your heart, remember where you came from and don’t lose touch with the people who make your abundance possible.

Pricing Pundit and Former “KMart Special” Turned Celebrity Copywriter
Hey there! I’m really happy you’re here. I know what it’s like to get stuck in the suboptimal pricing pit of doom.
I went from barely scraping by to working with clients like Amy Porterfield in a few short years.
Here’s the thing: if you’re good at what you do and you get results you get to determine a price point that works for YOU. Reverse engineer your business so that you run the show instead of the other way around.
Now that you’re here, I’ll show you how. Be warned, I’m unapologetically going to push you beyond what you thought possible. Pricing is a game, and you’re about to win.
